Point of Sale

The tablet register screen front-line staff use to take orders, check out, and review the day's orders. Open it from the tablet pairing link — it isn't the normal login page.

Add items to the cart

  1. Tap a category on the left, or tap All to show every product.
  2. Tap a product tile to add it to Current order on the right; tapping the same product again increases its quantity.
  3. In the order list, use / to adjust quantity; reducing to 0 removes the line.

Checkout

  1. Tap Checkout (the button also shows the total) to open the checkout screen.
  2. If digital payments are enabled, first pick cash or a digital method under Choose payment method.
  3. For cash, use the keypad to enter Cash received, or tap Exact / a quick-amount button; the Change appears below.
  4. Tap Complete sale to submit, or Back to keep editing.

In "One-tap complete" checkout mode you don't enter cash received (calculate change manually); digital payments never have change due.

Today's orders & voiding

  1. Tap Today's orders (top right) to open the side panel listing each order number and amount for today.
  2. To cancel one, tap Void on that row.

Voiding reverses the day's revenue aggregate. Whether the tablet can void is set by the Void permission in POS settings: when it's "Backoffice only", the tablet shows no void button and you must void from the backoffice.

The pairing link and void permission are configured in POS settings — Manager permission required. If the screen shows "Device unpaired", the link has expired; ask your manager to regenerate it.
